A Letter to Homeowners

There are many new start-up companies today that have been forced into branching off into other areas of home improvement due to the slowing economy. Be aware of pricing that seems too good to be true. Unfortunately, they do not have the experience and reliability of a business that has been in business for over two decades. A HIC (Home Improvement Contractor) license, proof of workman's compensation and liability insurance are required to obtain a roofing permit. Any person asking the homeowner to pull a permit or stating that you do not need a permit could mean that they are not properly licensed and or insured. We are called regularly with customers saying they did not do their homework and now need repairs because the original contractor is nowhere to be found.
